Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey searching for new performers for its famous “Clown Alley” Seeking attention getters, comedians, and anyone who think they can amuse thousands with their antics at The Greatest Show On Earth. Do you think you’re funny? A comic who needs an audience? Ringling Bros. Clown College® is giving clowning hopefuls a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to audition to become part of the World Famous Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Clown Alley. No formal “clowning” is necessary. Bring your sense of humor, a plan to entertain the casting directors and you may walk away with an invitation to join The Greatest Show On Earth and tour more than 80 U.S. cities in an upcoming tour. Requirements: Auditioners will show, in a 3-5 minute routine, their ability to display exaggerated facial expressions, athleticism or any unique physical skills, an understanding of comedy, as well as a sense of personality and why they wish to become part of The Greatest Show On Earth®. Previous professional clowning experience is not required; must be over 18 years old to tour, but younger auditioners are welcome!
