'Willy Wonka Jr.' coming to Sandy May 6-8

The Sandy Arts Guild presents its youth theater production of "Willy Wonka Jr." May 6 and 7 at 8 p.m. and May 8 at 4 p.m. in the theater at Mount Jordan Middle School, 9360 South 300 East.

This fun musical features Willy Wonka, the famous owner of a magical, mystical chocolate factory; the children Charlie Bucket, Augustus Gloop, Mike Teavee, Veruca Salt and Violet Beaurgarde, and the cast of famous factory workers, the Oompa-Loompas, as they tour the chocolate factory and encounter bizarre events that could only happen in Willy Wonka's magical world.

Tickets to "Willy Wonka Jr" are $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under and can be purchased by calling 801.568.ARTS (2787), or in person at Sandy City Hall, 10000 S Centennial Pkwy., room 310. More information can be found online at sandyarts.com.
