James and LuDeen (Petersen) Mecham are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary.
They were married May 27, 1960, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After residing in the Salt Lake City area and Glendale, Ariz., they moved to Sandy, where they have lived for 40 years.
Their children and grandchildren will host an open house in their honor next month. Children include Jill (Paul) McGrath, Dave (Barbara) Mecham, Annette (Rick) Mikat, Pam McShane, Todd (Jeanne) Mecham and Steve (Ali) Mecham. Grandchildren include Matt, Kiley and Jake McGrath; Reagan, Caris and Kristin Mecham; Anna and Lauren Mikat; Andrew and Connor McShane; Brigham, Mallory, Quin, Cole, Haydyn and Cannon Mecham; Kline, Davin and Ella Mecham.
