Fridays, starting Feb. 3, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – AARP Tax Help. Free electronic tax preparation. Service available to low and middle income, 60 and older. Bring 2011 tax returns, social security numbers and picture IDs.
Feb. 1, 10 a.m. – “Protect Our Seniors and Yourself: Ways to Do It.” You are not alone. Learn about your legal rights from the Department of Human Services Adult Protective Services.
10 a.m. – AARP 55 Driver Safety Program. Covers defensive driving techniques, new traffic laws and rules of the road, plus much more will be discussed.
1:30 p.m. – Writing with Flair. Bettyanne Bruin (Wentworth Assisted Living in Draper) gives ideas on how to create stories that sell, books that delight, journals and assists in personal histories.
Feb. 2, 10 a.m. – Women’s Support Group. Topic: “Exploring Healthy Relationships” and a healthy relationship with yourself. This monthly group promotes mental and physical wellness. Facilitator is Jenny Yau, MSW degree with a social work license.

Feb. 10, 10 a.m. – Senior Fraud and on “Being Scammed.” A personal story from a family who survived. Listen to their professional, powerful presentation.

10 a.m. – Heart Healthy Talk. February is American Heart Awareness Month. A RN from BrightStar Home Health will include in the discussion diet, exercise and other factors regarding heart health.
