Sizzler Cops For Kids

Get SERVED by your local police!

Get SERVED by your local Police! Tips are then donated to the Children’s Justice Center. THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 2015 4:00 to 8:30PM April is Child Abuse Awareness Month. This year 1,600 children will come through our doors of the Children’s Justice Center and we need your help. We are a child-friendly facility where law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, mental health, medical & victim advocacy professionals work together to investigate abuse, help children heal from abuse, and hold offenders accountable. Silence is the loudest cry of all. Every child victim of abuse deserves to have their voices heard in a safe, friendly place with caring and supportive professional advocates. Through your generous support, child victims are able to free themselves from the burden that is so often all-consuming, so the healing process can begin. It takes courage to end the silence and children need to know there are people who will protect and empower them. There is so much more to be done and with the continued support of donors and volunteers, children can heal and feel empowered. So for one day only, police officers from Salt Lake City, Sandy, South Jordan, West Jordan, and West Valley, will show their support by volunteering their time to serve dinner to customers at participating Sizzler restaurants. At the end of the evening all tips are donated to the Children’s Justice Center to benefit child victims of crime. Choose one of the participating Sizzler locations and we hope to see you there!
