United Way of Salt Lake Celebrates Volunteerism with Annual Stuff the Bus Project

Salt Lake City – United Way of Salt Lake will host the Annual Stuff the Bus Project with more than 600 volunteers. Over the past few months, companies, community groups and individuals have been holding school supply drives. On Saturday, volunteers will be stuffing backpacks with the donated school supplies while celebrating with the RSL mascot and other festivities.

What:             Stuff the Bus: The general public is invited to help fill backpacks with school supplies for 11,000 low-income kids. Volunteers will receive a free lunch and chance to win prizes at this public project that will take place at the Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy.

Where:  Rio Tinto Stadium (America First Pavilion)

              Sandy, Utah

When: Saturday, August 27, 2016

            9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
