Sandy celebrates the Fourth in style with annual parade

Sandy City invited neighboring residents to join them during their “biggest 4th of July celebration in Salt Lake County!”

Utah’s South Tongan Stake showcased the ‘pioneer strong spirit like our ancestors’ during the annual Fourth of July parades in local cities.
The Utah Cultural Alliance helped to sponsor some of the entertainment and events during Sandy’s Fourth of July celebrations.
Even though the day brought rain, and even a little hail, Sandy City’s holiday parade and events continued on. The marching bands even performed in the rain!

Three DeLoreans tailed Dr. Brown, awaiting his direction for time travel.

Sandy’s Dr. Emmett Brown danced his way through the entire parade route. He was even spotted dancing in the staging area.

Three BMX demos ran throughout the day starting at 1pm. Riders even struck around to participate in the parade.
Sandy's Fourth of July events were held in the courtyard and park areas along 10000 Centennial Parkway.

Free concerts were performed throughout the day on the Fourth of July along with the annual parade, fireworks, and food vendors.
250 flags were displayed in front of Sandy’s City Hall during the holiday to celebrate America’s birthday.
