Voices of the Future Vol. 1 Launch Party

Hometown girl celebrates with the community as she launches her first book and prepares to graduate from elite conservatory program

Local girl Madigan Thompson, age 21, prepares to be one of the first to graduate from The Author Conservatory, a three-year online college alternative program for gifted writers. Her first book, “Voices of the Future,” will be released on December 5, with a launch event open to the public at River Community Church from 7:00-8:30 pm on December 6.

Thompson has spent the last three years learning from bestselling and award-winning authors, professional editors, and literary agents – including Christy and Carol Award-winning author Joanne Bischof, ACFW agent of the year Steve Laube, and New York Times bestselling authors Tosca Lee and C. J. Redwine.

“Voices of the Future,” which features short stories from nine rising young creatives, will be available on Amazon.com in both paperback and e-book formats and has sold over 300 pre-order copies. It is already a #1 New Release in Teen & Young Adult Short Stories.
